BUSBOYS & POETS

Today I took myself out on a nice little lunch date at my favorite spot in DC - Busboys and Poets! This is the best restaurant known to me (NOT MAN) haha!

I go here if I need a quick lunch fix or if I'm roaming the streets of downtown and looking for something to fill my tummy! The menu varies from vegan to gluten free. As you can see, they serve everyone.

BOOKWORM ALERT!

Seeing a picture like this gets me pumped!

Reading really gets your mind in another world, another time zone, another generation, another state. It gets your mind to create visuals of what you're reading and take your mind off whatever it is that you're stressing about at that moment.

Relax.

Pick up a book.

The best library in D.C. in my opinion. Authors from Michelle Obama to an author from D.C.'s own backyard can be found in here! Tons of books with many useful information written by a lot of young and educated people in this generation. To see so many books written by my generation is an amazing experience! Not only does it make me smile, it actually gives me hope, hope that we can turn this generation around for the better.

Of course these two books caught my attention because it's pink, but not only that, "BAD FEMINIST" is a New York Times Best Seller and "A Life" is written by none other than FLOTUS- Michelle Obama!

One of my favorite desserts on the menu! This is the only dessert that I've eaten from here since I've been in D.C. I don't think I'll trying many options soon. This is my only choice.

This was my fabulous lunch! It was small, but mighty. If you're anything like me, you'll drink water with anything, everywhere you go. For some reason, the first thing I order is water, because it's healthy and free! HAHA
